Our Oshawa hotel conference facilities can accommodate groups from 2 to 400. Guild Hall accommodates up to 300 for banquets or 400 in a theatre style setting. Guild Hall can be divided, allowing it to be reconfigured for intimate gatherings or mid sized events. We also offer many other rooms that are ideally suited for small breakout groups or meetings. Many of our meeting rooms offer natural lighting.

How do we get to the Quality Hotel & Conference Centre?

Take highway 401 west from Kingston or highway 401 east from Toronto, take exit number 419, Harmony Rd, head east on Bloor Street, the Quality Hotel & Conference Centre is on the right hand side. 

How close are you to Toronto?

Downtown Toronto is a 45 minute drive, depending on traffic, rush hour times are from 6 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 7 pm weekdays. Highway 401 West to the Don Valley Parkway South will take you right into Toronto. 

What is there to do at the Hotel?

The Quality Hotel Conference Centre is a full service hotel, on site we have an indoor pool, outdoor pool, fitness center, whirlpool, sauna, outdoor basketball court, and Bloor Street Restaurant & Lounge. If there is anything you need one of our friendly guest service agents would be happy to help.

What are check in and check out times?

Check in is at 3:00 pm and check out is at 11:00 am. If you need an earlier check in or a later check out please ask, it is not guaranteed but is available based on occupancy.

Is there a charge for parking?

No, parking is free and we have plenty available for larger vehicles or vehicles that are towing boats/snowmobiles etc.

Is there internet in the hotel?

Yes, we have complimentary high speed internet access in all of our guest rooms and board rooms, in the lobby and restaurant we also have free wireless internet.

How can I pay for my room and do I need a credit card?

In order to be guaranteed for late arrival you will need to provide a credit card at time of reservation. If you do not wish to provide us with a credit card number while making your reservation we will hold your room until 4 pm on the day of arrival. If you have not arrived by 4 pm your reservation will automatically be cancelled. At check in you must provide a credit card that will pre-authorize for the entire amount. If you have given us a credit card you can still pay cash or debit at check out. No cash/debit deposits will be accepted. No pre-paid credit cards.

Do you allow pets?

Yes, the Quality Hotel & Conference Centre is pet friendly. 

Where is a good place to eat?

Bloor Street Restaurant & Lounge is located in the Lobby of the Quality Hotel & Conference Centre. Bloor Street is well known in Oshawa for an excellent Christmas Day brunch, Bloor Street Lounge is a perfect place to relax with friends or business associates to enjoy a beverage or a snack. Bloor Street Restaurant is open for breakfast & dinner and room service. If you are looking to go out for dinner Oshawa has a variety of franchised and family run restaurants, and our front desk staff would be happy to make suggestions.

Where is General Motors?

The Quality Hotel & Conference Centre is the closest hotel to the General Motors Head Office located on Colonel Sam Drive; from the hotel turn left onto Bloor Street, turn left onto Farewell Street; turn left onto Colonel Sam Drive. It is a short 5 minute drive. The General Motors plant is located on Park Street in Oshawa. From the hotel turn left onto Bloor Street, and then left onto Park Road South.

Where is the GM Centre?

The GM Centre is located only 10 minutes from the Quality Hotel & Conference Centre on Athol Street. In the Fall and Winter catch the excitement of an Oshawa Generals Hockey game, or year round check out the website for exciting concerts or special events.
